Only people on the beach today were walking with their dogs.
Report Details
Only people on the beach today were walking with their dogs. Summer sand deposition is still covering the driftwood logs near the foredune, no good places to sit. Lots of jellies and dead "sand crabs" in the driftline today, more than usual. Otherwise, driftline contains typical broken shells, small wood pieces, and some kelp.

Very few birds, one flock of sanderlings.
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1. One rather newly dead gull, recently scavenged, lots of fluffy feathers around the carcass. Some dead bird parts and pieces, well decayed.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Wood pieces. Lots of jellies and dead "sand crabs".
Actions & Comments
All big driftwood pieces near the foredune have been covered with sand. No good sitting logs!
