Heavy human use (18) on this day when inland temperatures hit 95 degrees, but no adverse impact noted. Unusual large kelp piles and wood pieces in driftline. One Harbor Seal on offshore rock. One dead gull. Gorse, Beach Pea and Pacific Silverweed in full bloom. Sand beginning its annual summer buildup. Two areas of foredune appear to have been planted with American Beachgrass.

Temperature: 79 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: W. Tide Level: 7.5 feet.

?: 2 areas of the foredune with American Beach grass, looked very much as if someone had planted them. See photo 2.

Tide was too high to get around Fivemile Point. Gorse, Beach Pea (photo 3) and Pacific Silverweed (photo 4) in full bloom. Sand beginning its annual Summer buildup.
