Nice afternoon following storms of last week.

Nice afternoon following storms of last week. Lots of kelp on beach. No unusual debris or any identified as tsunami debris. Got there at low tide and was able to survey tidepools at the point. Counted 20 starfish. Although I took lots of pictures my camera got dunked and do not know if memory card salvageable. Also observed marine mammals hauled out on offshore rocks. I think all were harbor seals. Four pelicans in flight.

Several sea ducks in surf offshore (identified two male Scoters). Cormorants and sea gulls on rocks, Four pelicans in flight.Harbor seals hauled out on offshore rocks (9)Tide was low enough to survey some of tide pools. Mussels barnacles sea anemones ect. Counted 20 starfish.
