The harbor seal pup I reported yesterday morning is no longer on the beach just north of the 8th St.

The harbor seal pup I reported yesterday morning is no longer on the beach just north of the 8th St. stairway. Presumably mother came and fetched it. So this morning the warning sign I had posted returned to my car boot. Thanks to Fawn for running phone interference.

A chilly NW wind didn't deter 9 folks -- 5 rock hunting, the others walking -- from hitting the South Jetty beach on an overcast morning with a low tide of 0.
