Report Details
Heading toward the South Jetty from Table Rock was relatively crowded (9 walking people and one dog) for 6 a.m. on a cloudy and windy morning, but it was a negative tide (-1.5 feet), and people were walking out to "islands" not normally accessible. Gulls and cormorants flew offshore while a few gulls walked the beach. As usual there were birds on the offshore rocks and especially Table Rock. Nothing dead and no litter for a change. Small rocks and wood pieces in the driftline. Some logs still coming in with the high tides, which are running closer to the dune area--though not as far as in winter.
