Report Details

It was a warm day, with only light wind, and people were enjoying the beach. The beach itelf was sculpted into low dunes. The wrack line contained mostly organic materials, with a heavy predominance of animal casings, including some crab shells and many, many mole crab casings. I was surprised at how many more people were on the beach than there were a few weeks ago, even though conditions were rather similar.Note: This report encompasses a little more than a mile; it runs from Agate Beach all the way to Nye Beach Turnaround.
