King Tide observation at Sunset Beach.Seawater upto rock breakwater at beach.  Water has not reached the cement walk in front of the bathrooms.Tidewater covering lower portion of the beach boat ramp.

Sunset Bay was overwhelmed by visitors presumably drawn by the "High Surf" warnings on their weather apps or, I suspect, by awareness of the "King Tide" phenomenon.
