A photographer stationed just north of Elephant Rock asked me if I had seen an eagle swoop down for a gull breakfast awaiting it on Elephant Rock.

A photographer stationed just north of Elephant Rock asked me if I had seen an eagle swoop down for a gull breakfast awaiting it on Elephant Rock. The photog said this has happened several times while he watched. He took a shot with the camera but said it was too slow and the snaring too quick.I, alas, missed the action. Perhaps tomorrow....
