Fairly clean, windswept beach.

Fairly clean, windswept beach. No mass Velella velella strandings this season, only a scattering of large specimens (3-4 inches). No pyrosomes seen today. A fair amount of mole crab molt, typical for this time of year.

Just wanted to say there have been a lot of brown pelicans this season, more than I've ever seen, and I'm wondering if they will stay for the winter?
