The Oregon Forerst Trust from Commodity to Commonwealth

On Monday, October 17 at 6 PM, North Coast Communities for Watershed Protection and Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition hosted a webinar with author, professor, and legal theorist Mary Wood of the University of Oregon School of Law. She covered the extractive practices of industrial logging that have already wreaked havoc on waters, wildlife, and the health of too many community members. Professor Mary Wood will discuss how natural resources that forests provide are a public trust, including clean drinking water and breathable air.
