Oregon’s statewide plan for water management and allocation is known as the Integrated Water Resources Strategy. It is currently up for review and updating. A survey and series of public meetings have been conducted to give the public an opportunity to weigh in on how we manage water for people, plants, animals, and ecosystems. The in-person events have now been completed, but the survey is still open.

The Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD) and 13 other state agencies are working with Oregon’s Kitchen Table (OKT), a program at Portland State University, to give citizens an opportunity to explain what they want to see in the update to Oregon’s water strategy. This input will help the state plan for the future to meet our water needs.

You can contribute your views via this online survey, through July 15.
