The Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) has opened a public comment period for the agency’s 2023-25 Draft Policy Agenda. The Policy Agenda defines the agency’s proposed policy work for the 2023-25 biennium. Public comments or suggestions are welcome. The draft updated policy agenda is available at Draft 2021-23 Updated Policy Agenda.

Refer to the Staff Report from the July, 2023 meeting of the Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) for more information on the development and purpose of DLCD’s policy agenda.

DLCD will accept written comments on the 2021-23 Draft Policy Agenda until 8 a.m. on Sept. 25. Staff will consider comments and suggestions and, “as appropriate” (their words), use them to inform the final update to the 2023-25 Policy Agenda. The LCDC commissioners will receive a presentation on the Updated Policy Agenda at their November 2-3 meeting.

To comment in writing, or with questions about the process, contact Alexis Biddle, DLCD Legislative and Policy Coordinator, alexis.biddle@dlcd.oregon.gov.
