Notable change with the access to the beach from the Sunset Beach access. King Tides have changed the actual approach onto the beach with a lot of driftwood/logs on the approach. Plenty of logs and driftwood on the shoreline.

With a light rain and only 49 degrees, there were few on this mile. However, the beach was covered with velella velella and the beach really stunk.

Winter Solstice entered today on a stormy note. Only a few brave gulls on the beach.

It was a beautiful morning at the coast today, but very quiet. The beach itself was very, very clean.

There was a surprising number of people on the beach due to the heavy fog.
