Calm, low tide. Hazy air from local controlled burns. Quiet Thursday for Harris Beach. Really not much to report. Debris was minimal, I expected more since the Bomb Cyclone was just last week.
Conditions
Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: S. Tide Level: 3.0 feet.

Number of people: 8. Walking or running: 2. Playing in sand: 3. Sitting: 1. Several children just running around having fun and adults just watching them play. 2 people walking for apparent exercise

2 large dead jelly fish. I’m uncertain of their type Several gulls wading at the mouth of Harris Creek

Found today 10-12’ decomposing body of a sea lion washed up on the rocks at the cove at the most northern point of mile 8 appears to have been dead for some time and is very fragrant Turkey vulture activity has been high here for the last several days and I guess I discovered why!
