North side of Cape Blanco, south of Castle Rock

Cooler and cloudy day.
Report Details
Cooler and cloudy day. Reconning around south beach and headlands with good views both south and north. Was intending to walk from Hughes house to Mile 57, but due to sandbar at mouth of river, the trails were covered with about 18 inches of river water. Not many folks out today.
Conditions
Temperature: 62 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 7.5 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 3. Walking or running: 3. Planned on walking Sixes River trail. Recon south beach, top of bluff and out to trail head. Folks at south beach and at lighthouse, none at north trail by Sixes River due to flooded wetlands, the Sixes was blocked at mouth due sand bar.
Notable Wildlife
Assorted shorebirds, didn't see any mammals on the beach.

Sixes mouth blocked and river back up into it estuary

November weather, clear skies with some clouds and fog, slight wind from the Northwest, surf very rough, Orford reef covered with waves.
