Wandered from Hughes House to MILE 57.
Report Details
Wandered from Hughes House to MILE 57. Few folks on beach, fishing and beach combing. NO Pets, some sheep on grassy hill sides. Saw Bald Eagle yesterday, none today. NO sea mammals, some sea birds, flocks of birds on Gull Island, need to check the inventory. Over all sunny day with good amount of Nw winds, especially on exposed beach or bluffs. Minus tide this weekend, could have rounded the cape maybe with tomorrow minus tide? Start from south side, see ya there.

Temperature: 64 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: -1.5 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 6. Walking or running: 2. Fishing: 2. Many auto up at lighthouse. Only a few on the Hughes ranch side of the park. 2 fisherman, 2 beachcomber and no pets. All on foot, those on the beach.
Notable Wildlife
no sea mammal, some birds on Gull Island, little or no seaweed, some various sizes of wood and ever gravel beds to pick over. Saw Bald Eagle and two sitting on nest just the north of Cape Blanco.
Driftline Content
very clean beach. No small plastic.
Natural Changes
Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Landslides/major boulder falls.

November weather, clear skies with some clouds and fog, slight wind from the Northwest, surf very rough, Orford reef covered with waves.
