Report Details

Although it is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach, ODOT did a major repair to the place I park and access my mile. Hwy 101 was raised about 10 feet along this stretch. My informal path was removed, but it is still very easy to pick up the old trail 100 feet or so north of the parking lot. There was a lot of surf grass and other seaweeds piled on the north end of the sandy portion of my mile.Last spring there were some large pieces of foam that I suspected were tsunami debris, but I would like to mention that there was not any more litter than normal, at this time.
