Report Details

Very clean beach, almost no trash. The cliff to the north of the parking area is actively eroding. There was a family of 7 playing on the step bank of Mussel Creek near the mouth, having a great time jumping and rolling down the steep sand.

Notable Wildlife

2 Pelican flying north over mile, 24 seagulls in the mouth of Mussel Creek. 20 swallows, and 2 semipalmated plovers.

Beached Birds

Total dead birds: 1. 1 dead seagull

Natural Changes

Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff. Tree on beach from top of cliff has been there about 3 months. Approximately ~ 20 yd3 of material at the base of the cliff.
