Second day of fall was almost cloudless and temps in the 60's.

Second day of fall was almost cloudless and temps in the 60's. Most notable wildlife spottings were two dead murres and one dead black bird (possibly a crow). Very sad to see a dead seal pup on the beach also. Only two pelicans flying low over the surf, gulls and terns. "Our" mile was very clear of man made debris; mostly crab shells scattered around.

Total stranded mammals: 1. One dead seal pup on beach just north of Parking Lot 1B approach. May have had trauma to head as there appeared to be dried blood.
