Four groups of two people were spotted walking the beach.
Report Details
Four groups of two people were spotted walking the beach. One group had a very large dog, another had two small dogs. We found a dead shark, about five feet long, light grey in color. It was lying on its back, intact except for one missing side fin. We spotted 6 dead birds, one very fresh. It looked like it had bite marks through the chest, though was not eaten.

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Strong. Tide Level: 4.0 feet.
Human Activities
Number of people: 8. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 8. There was a small amount of horse manure along the tideline.

Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 6. 2 cormorants, 3 gulls, and one unknown.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
A five foot long shark, missing one fin.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. One styrofoam crab float, 8 plastic bottles.
