Lots of large pieces of woody debris.

Lots of large pieces of woody debris. However, it appears human removal of wood is common.There was enough trash to take some time and collect the larger pieces.

Apparent violations: Large driftwood is part of many old beach fires. Sawdust left over from driftwood removal at 2-3 spots..Vehicles
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Primary drift material was large (2-25') woody debris, and then wood debris in general, shells / rocks, with a couple of large piles of bulll kelp. The human derived debris were mostly plastic. Significant? No more than usual. Hard to discern if land or ship derived.

Notable wildlife: kildeer at the waterline, pelicans on the wing and a seal in the surf.

Appeared to be quite a bit of drfit wood removal (recent chain saw use, truck tires above tide line).
