Winter day at the state park.
Report Details
Winter day at the state park. Had been very rainy the day before, campground was not very busy. Tide quite high but we've seen worse on our observations. Not much action. People standing around, one group of crazy teenagers running into the surf. Pretty clean.

Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.

Number of people: 31. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 24. Playing in surf: 7. Not many people on the beach. The prior day was very rainy. Mostly standing around,or walking short distances.
Concerns
Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs
Vehicles
Notable Wildlife
Observed the most small birds on the beach we'd seen yet. They stayed in groups when flying or on the beach. Snowy plover?

We came across this flock of approximately 3,100 Dunlin a bit south of the Iredale wreck in Fort Stevens State Park.
