A sunny, winter day on our coast. Our only odd observation were the wood chips all along the shore from an earlier high tide.

Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Wood pieces. Just north of our mile was a large amount of wood chips strewn for about a quarter of a mile. The chips looked like they had come from some sort of large ship or logging operation. They were bright orange in color.

With a light rain and only 49 degrees, there were few on this mile. However, the beach was covered with velella velella and the beach really stunk.
