This was a very quiet time on the beach with high surf and only on person walking her dog. It was really quite deserted for as far as one could see with just small flocks of sanderlings out and about.

With a light rain and only 49 degrees, there were few on this mile. However, the beach was covered with velella velella and the beach really stunk.
