Visited this beach to look for sand dollar or snail die offs reported elsewhere in the last couple of days. Didn't see any live sand dollars, just broken ones - which seemed normal. A few Dungeness shells, different sizes. Very few jellies. Muggy day, warmish water, cloudy, feels like rain. Tire tracks went south of the driving boundary though not too far.

Temperature: 61 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 8.1 feet.

Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs

Total dead birds: 1. One dead sea bird. Webbed feet, black hooked beak - mottled looking feathers. Will update report after consulting COASST Beached Birds book.
