Very few people on the beach. A lot of fun invertibrates including sea gooseberries, red eyed medusa, and sea cherubs.

Temperature: 40 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: W. Tide Level: 7.7 feet.

Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces. Some interesting invertebrates. Millions of tiny Velella velella, most of which were just a little bigger than a grain of sand. The largest ones were about the size of a nickle. Came across gooseberries (Pleurobrachia bachei), red eyed medusa (Polyorchis pencillatus), and sea cherub (Cliopsis krohni). There were also a lot of tiny tube worm casings and pine nettles.

We noticed lots of micro plastic and picked up as much as we could.
