Arrived at the beach around 8 a.m. when the high tide was peaking (11.8 ft), but sat in the parking lot until 11 a.m. waiting for the tide to be far enough out to walk the beach safely. A bald eagle flew by while we waited, which I have seen here before multiple times near Lion Rock.
