Other than the dead sea lion, there is nothing unusual to note. This beach has not changed much in my ten years of close observation. The decrease in litter is a welcome development since three years ago we removed 43 tires and 8 bags of trash after the winter.

Number of people: 3. Walking or running: 2. Other Activities: 1 on bicycle. I drove on the beach in order to collect trash (14 tires included) for SOLV clean-up day.

Total stranded mammals: 1. Dead sea lion at end of beach near Otter Point.
