End of summer,  Not much in the way of driftwood left on the beach(campers burn it thru the summer).  The beach was carn clean being it was just a week ago the SOLVE did the fall beach clean-up. 5 dead birds is a concern, I am cusrious as to why?

Conditions

Temperature: 45 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 3.0 feet.

Activities

Number of people: 5. Number of dogs: 2. Walking or running: 5.

Other Activities: The vehicle was a State Park Ranger patrolling the beach. I had a conversation with him, they are now patrolling on a regular basis..

Cars/trucks parking: 10. RVs/Buses parking: 2. Cars/trucks on beach, allowed: 1.

Beached Birds

Total dead birds: 5. I believe all were Common Murre's

Dead Fish or Invertebrates

Many beached jelly's

Wrackline Content

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings or molts, Wood pieces, Marine debris, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.).
