Number of people: 1. Number of dogs: 11. Walking or running: 1. Some evidence of wood cutting on the beach. The beach looked great, little in the way of litter. No birds or mammals seen other than cormorants on offshore rocks. A beautiful day!

We've walked the beach several times since our last report in March. Looks great. No evidence of fishing boat debris this summer. We've seen plastic oil containers, nets and rope in the past but only one crab buoy tangled in kelp this summer. Seems to be a lack of birds except the fall migrants. Not as many seagulls, just the offshore cormorants.
