I wrote to the Oregon Beach Monitoring Program (800 NE Oregon Street, Suite 640, Portland, OR 97232) requesting that both Short beach and Oceanside be added to the list of beaches monitored for water quality by the Oregon Health Authority, based on increased use, especially by children, and the lack of bathroom facilities at Short Beach.
