I bagged two large bags of debris (litter), but had to stash it behind the trees on the dunes to drag it out the next time.

Cloud Cover: Sunny. Tide Level: -1.2 feet.

Human Activities

Number of people: 1. Five turkey vultures were feeding on a large seal carcass. I walked up to photograph. However, on my way back, I dropped my camera along the way. So no photographs.

Erosion of vegetated foredune, Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff.

Actions & Comments

The erosion of the sections where the forest is located is happening faster than where the low lying grass is growing.
