We are just learning the beach so can't compare it to anything yet. Today the sand was a gentle slope to the rip rap. Hawk Creek was almost dry in places. Places of smooth rocks every 20 yards or so. Some crab shells but not much. Lots of gulls. Beach is really clean today. Learning a lot about what to look for and report from Heidi.
Human Activities
There were about 25 people and 3 dogs - including our own. Cold at the beach, especially compared to yesterday, and people huddled in chairs trying to keep warm.

Stunningly beautiful today ~ yesterday, too - but today the clouds were dancing with one another ~ storm clouds with white puffy and promises of blue sky off and on.
