Sunny day, active waves with moderate north wind. No appreciable gravel visible today, sand has moved in. Noticed a piece of man made wooden debris and 6 tents pitched in the dunes halfway between the Inn at Spanish Head and the Siletz River.

This was the first sunny and warm day of spring, and lots of visitors filled the beach; almost like a summer day! Significant sand erosion had recently occurred and many logs have been moved higher onto the beach.
