Several seals were basking on the other side of the water in the bay.

Several seals were basking on the other side of the water in the bay. In the drift line, at low tide, there were dogwinkles, nassas, and other gastropods mixed in with multiple types of kelp and seaweed. There was only a small amount of plastic litter, mostly plastic bottles and bottle caps.

People were enjoying a good spring day on the beach after an early afternoon rain.

This was the first sunny and warm day of spring, and lots of visitors filled the beach; almost like a summer day! Significant sand erosion had recently occurred and many logs have been moved higher onto the beach.
