A pleasant day for a beach walk, run, swim, stretch, and report including 70 photo study. Nothing unusual to note except no one on entire beach or in lot and small seal seeming not in best of health with ribs showing and skin splatches."What an incredibly beautiful beach! kind regards, Don Hayes

horse back riders allow horse to deficate near the upper Pistol River basin may affecr the water quality for occassional swimers

small seal alone ribs showing, splaches on skin, shore birds, terns, gulls, geese, one crane
Stranded Marine Mammals
Total stranded mammals: 1. small seal appeared alone and not in best health near at the southern end of mile 21

Nothing unusual or note worthy other than that this is an incredibly scenic shoreline. I did a workout at the beach including a run, swim and yoga stretching session.OF NOTE: I made a photo observation study of 70 quality photographs.

The starfish we had seen dead and washed-up near pistol river / ocean coast line had disappeared --probably washed back into sea.
