Report Details

We went as a field trip with all our 6th graders from Crestview Heights in Waldport, Oregon. Each group had about 20 kids and 4 adults. It was pouring rain and we were not able to keep the data well on the sheets because of the rain. This class did the north half of the beach mile, and the other class did the south half. This survey only accounts for the northern half of the beach mile. We did notice an abundance of what appeared to be new driftwood. We assumed it is because of the winter weather and amount of trees that were brought down the river in the high water levels. Aside from the driftwood, we also found two previous Christmas trees, and also a gigantic pumpkin.
