Report Details

I was unable to walk the entire mile. The creek to the north was running too deep to get across. Standing water on parts of the beach. No human activity. Scattered areas along the approximate 1/2 mile had more trash than previous visits, including micro-plastic. I picked up what I could. 1 dead bird and parts of others. More driftwood north of the creek than there has been previously.

Conditions

Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light.

It was a gorgeous sunny day after all the rain. The barnacle log that I have been observing for months is still on the beach.

These have not been the highest waves of the storm season so far but they are still moving rock and scouring sand from the base of un-rip rapped foredune.
