A sunny day with a strong north wind carrying sand southwards. Thirteen people, all quite bundled up, were moving about on the beach, along with the usual sparse contingent of gulls, crows, and sanderlings. Considerable number and variety of dead birds. A few new bluff constructions: added steps, and an overlook with chairs and flag-pole.
