With the better weather lots of people and dogs were on the beach.

With the better weather lots of people and dogs were on the beach. Higher winter tides are washing up to the banks and the plants that colonized the sand over the summer are being washed away. Still several feet of sand deposited on beach. Not much large debris washing in, only 3 pieces of wood and 1 rope segment. Some small plastics appearing in wrack line.

Notable Wildlife
Not too many gulls, just one large flock of about 50 smaller shore birds
Beached Birds
Total dead birds: 1.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea). Lots of pine needles, and plant material from shore that has been washed into ocean
