Report Details
The user-maintained path to the beach from the Overlook shows signs of being pushed toward the sea. Over the past year it seems to have settled and been pushed toward the ocean by pressure from traffic on highway 101. This could be the beginning of a degrading of the fill under the road, not a good sign!

I do hope ODOT finally does something about the fissures and erosion immediately west of 101, just north of the entrance to the Southview PUD housing, because if, during our winter rains, that section of 101 slides off, it will close this highway for many months while emergency repairs are undertaken.

Some quads recently crossed over Berry Creek from the south, not Forest Service and the Forest Service had a pickup truck north of Berry Creek during the past three months as well.
