It was sunny, it was cloudy, it rained and then it was sunny – a morning on Baker Beach. The beach was clean of human trash and very little from the ocean. The 4 COASST people, other wise known as the Dead Birders, tagged five dead birds one of which was a Northern Pintail. There were 4 horses with riders and dogs. Two hunters were checking the deflation plain. Two questions for the morning: 1- How high up the beach would a six to ten inch tsunami go at high tide? And 2- Why was the Osprey still here?
