Spring shorebird migration in full swing!Shorebird migration in process. Minimum of 1100 shorebirds on this mile of beach. They were primarily Western Sandpiper, with some Dunlin, Sanderling, Semi-Palmated Plover, and 2 Redknots.

Unusually large amounts of fresh small wood chips along the entire drift line in this mile of beach.

Took the missus out for a trial walk with her new walking sticks, initially heading north into the wind from Driftwood Shores Resort up to Sutton Creek and return with a nice tailwind.
