Very few people or birds. Very little debris in driftline. Strong north wind on beach, light wind inland a few blocks. Evidence of normal sand loss during winter with some erosion at base of vegetated dunes in places.

Another glorious sunny winter day at Heceta Beach! The recent high tides have washed away most of the summer dunes that accumulate on the high beach in front of the vegetation zone. Just another day in paradise!
