Actions & Comments
Seemingly clear liquid flushed out from south end of Driftwood Shores Inn in a quantity enough to run over beach sand area and drain into sea. Did not come from street-sewer outlet, but 10 feet oceanward, between Inn and homes. Seemed like enough liquid (clear water, I suppose) to fill a swimming pool. I had to get out of its way to avoid getting shoes wet. No apparent odor or color. Lots of algae and slim growth in this region. Clean beach, except animal feces again. Seems to be a morning animal relief ground.

Another glorious sunny winter day at Heceta Beach! The recent high tides have washed away most of the summer dunes that accumulate on the high beach in front of the vegetation zone. Just another day in paradise!

Took the missus out for a trial walk with her new walking sticks, initially heading north into the wind from Driftwood Shores Resort up to Sutton Creek and return with a nice tailwind.
