Closest access to this mile is via the Turner Lake Wayside. The trail from there is about a mile, and today there were several deep unavoidable mudpuddles to ford to get to the beach. There was no adverse human impact observed, no humans, no dogs, no trash.

Plenty of immature and adult gulls.

Unusual concentration. Huge number of clam shells and sanddollars throughout intertidal zone

Erosion of vegetated foredune.
