The mile of beach looked normal except with less sand buildup because of less winter storm activity. I have never seen so many Valella-Valella. Lots more than last summer, 2014.

Unusual concentration. Millions of Valellla-Valella carcasses, mostly small (one inch or smaller)on the high tide line.

I thought it was unusual to find a shark carcass, since I have never observed any other fish besides a Lamprey.
