Beach was fairly clean with new sand covering logs near vegetation line.
Report Details
Beach was fairly clean with new sand covering logs near vegetation line. Shell/animal casings not in a heavy concentration. Some kelp/algae, styrofoam and ocean-based debris in driftline. One dead cormorant. Shorebirds moving in response to humans and dogs. Heavy human impact (20)-2 walking, 18 sitting-10 dogs. Beach sand increasing as ocean deposits continue.

Shark (see photo) seen roiling in the shoreline, in inches of water, seemingly buffeted by small wave action.
