A spectacular day on the beach.

A spectacular day on the beach. Don't we live in a glorious area? Most users were teenagers, presumably due to the high school basketball tournament this weekend.The beach was fairly clear of trash. There was a higher amount than usual of driftwood, some of which had been chopped or chain sawed. Shells plastic pellets and Styrofoam in the driftline. Semipalmated Plovers on the wet sand. Two dead gulls. One legal, street legal, vehicle on the beach.

Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. Unusually high amount of driftwood.
