Foredune erosion.  Ocean action is carving "cliffed" areas out of the foredunes, at times as much as 6' tall, 90 degrees to the beach.Increased bird life - young/small turkey vultures and sandpipers.  1 Pacific Red-tailed Perch caught.

Visible retreat of solid bluff.

Actions & Comments

No action taken.  Activity is natural.  Evidence of water carving foredunes.  Notablyi n the area where the Weyerhauser ponds gravel road meets the beach at Mile 129/128.  The usual path to the beach is now a "cliff" approximately 6' above the beach and at a 90 degree angle to the beach.
